That’s where I come in. Every session with me is unique, and I work with you and your family, to create a shoot that is authentically you. If you’re worried that you’ll be uncomfortable in front of the camera, or that your partner’s just not that into the idea, then you're not alone.

I want your photos to make you feel good. The last thing you need is more cheesy “smile” at the camera photos. Nope - not here.

When we shoot together, I make you feel at ease. I guide you with gentle, activity-based prompts so you can get lost in play with your family and forget the camera is even there. The magic happens in the in-between moments — wind in your hair, playful energy, belly laughs and squishy cuddles. That’s what I capture: natural connection, real interaction, and your family exactly as you are.

What’s more: I’ll help you prepare — outfits, props, locations, and even keep an eye on the weather so it’s not stressful. If the forecast turns sour - no stress - we’ll reschedule.

This is about capturing your family just as you are — real, relaxed and carefree.

The best part? I’ll take care of the prints too, so you don’t need to worry — the memories are captured, printed, and ready to hang, delivered straight to your door.

1. We plan it together. I’ll help with outfit ideas, location suggestions, and tips to make the day easy.

2. Shoot day. You just show up — I’ll take care of the rest. Whether your kids are shy, cheeky, or full-on chaos, I’ll meet them where they’re at and capture the magic in between.

3. The good part. Within 3 weeks, you’ll receive your full online gallery and I help you with printing your precious memories.

  • Totally normal — honestly, most people feel awkward for the first 10 minutes. And if it helps, I get it… I feel awkward in front of the camera too.

    But give it a little time and you’ll settle in — by the end, you’ll be wondering what you were worried about.

    I’ll gently guide you when you need it, offer direction if it helps, or step back and let the candid moments unfold — whatever feels most natural for you.

    All you need to bring is an open mind and a sense of fun.

    Let’s embrace the laughs, the chaos, and all the beautifully real moments.

  • Wear what makes you feel happy and confident — your photos should reflect the real you. I’ll provide a guide with tips, and I’m always here to offer wardrobe advice if you’re unsure. Don’t feel any pressure to match or stress about outfits — just avoid big logos, busy patterns, or clashing prints. I might also ask you to remove watches and sunglasses on the day. The goal? Feel comfortable and yourself so your photos feel authentic.

  •  I’ll be keeping a close watch on the weather and tide apps leading up to your shoot and will stay in touch to make sure we choose the best time and location. It’s helpful to pick a week when you can be flexible, just in case we need to adjust the timing or day. Cloudy skies can add a beautiful vibe, but if heavy rain or storms are on the horizon, we’ll reschedule for a better day.

  • Golden hour is magic — dawn or an hour before dusk for outdoor shoots. For indoor sessions, pick a time when your home gets the best natural light. If toddlers are involved, we go with their mood — happy kids make the best photos! Underwater maternity sessions usually work best in the middle of the day when the sun is overhead. Not sure?   • Anywhere that feels like you — the beach, splashing in the shallows, cozy at home on the couch, or barefoot under the sprinkler in the backyard.

    For me, it’s always about connection and love — the location is just the backdrop.

    I’ve photographed families in the city, along river banks, on farms, out on piers, in restaurants, across sand dunes, and even high up in the arms of a giant tree.

  • Absolutely! I love a good adventure and I'm happy to pack my bags and get on a plane. I'm based on the Mornington Peninsula. Travel over 30 minutes may incur a fee. Get in touch and I’ll put together a no obligation quote for you.

  • Family, motherhood and couple sessions are usually 60–90 minutes — plenty of time for cuddles, giggles, and the little in-between moments. Newborn shoots can take up to 2 hours, giving us time for feeds and settling.

  • I celebrate the in-between moments — the quiet connections that happen beyond the “look at the camera and smile.”
